Overview

LC series vertical long-axis pumps are single-suction, single-stage or multi-stage vertical segmental or guide vane suspended pumps (API 610 VS1 pumps).   The LC vertical long-axis pump has a vertical inlet facing downward and a horizontal outlet. It is installed on a single foundation and the pump and motor are directly connected. When viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates counterclockwise. The main features are:

  1. The hydraulic design software is used to optimize the design, with superior performance, and full consideration is given to the abrasion resistance of the impeller and guide vanes, which greatly increases the life of impeller and other wearing parts; the product runs smoothly, safely and reliably, and is highly efficient and energy-saving.

  2. A filter screen is installed at the water pump inlet with appropriate hole size, which can effectively prevent large particles of impurities from entering the pump and damaging the pump, while also minimizing the inlet loss and improving the efficiency of the pump.

  3. The impeller uses a balancing hole to balance the axial force. The front and rear covers of the impeller are equipped with replaceable sealing rings to protect the impeller and pump body.

  4. The intermediate shaft, water pipe and protective pipe of the pump are multi-section, and the intermediate shaft adopts sleeve coupling technology. The number of water pipes can be increased or decreased according to user needs to adapt to different underwater depths. The impeller and guide vane body are multi-stage to adapt to different lift requirements.

  5. The water pump pipe is connected by a flange with a guide bearing in the middle. The guide bearing of the water pump adopts reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene or Canadian ceron bearing, and can also adopt nitrile rubber (for medium temperature above 55℃). The shaft is protected by a protective tube. When conveying sewage, the guide bearing must be connected to cooling and lubricating water.

  6. The residual axial force of the pump and the weight of the rotor components are borne by the thrust bearing in the motor seat or the motor with thrust bearing. The thrust bearing is lubricated with thin oil and cooled by external water. The thrust bearing can be embedded with temperature control elements.

  7. The shaft seal of the pump is a packing seal. Replaceable sleeves are installed at the shaft seal and guide bearing to protect the shaft. The axial position of the impeller is adjusted by the adjusting nut at the upper end of the bearing component or in the pump coupling, which is very convenient.

  8. The water pump can be equipped with a control cabinet, which has multiple functions such as automatic start and stop according to the liquid level, overload alarm and real-time remote monitoring, and can realize remote centralized control of multiple pumps. Pumps with a diameter greater than 500mm are equipped with an automatic exhaust system.
