Overview:
XBD/XBC-LC fire fighting long shaft pump is a single suction, multi-stage guide vane water pump. This product is developed based on the characteristics of key fire prevention units such as substations, oil depots, oil terminals, and oil drilling platforms, which lack a large amount of tap water supply and occupy a small area. It adopts excellent hydraulic models and advanced structural design concepts at home and abroad. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, wide range of use, safe and reliable operation, and fast start-up. This water pump is used to transport clean water and seawater with a temperature below 55 ℃.

Structural features:
The suction port of XBD/XBC-LC fire fighting long shaft pump is vertically downward, the outlet is horizontal, and it does not need vacuum to start; when looking down from the motor or right angle gearbox end, the pump rotor rotates counterclockwise. The main features are:
1. Installation method:
Generally, the water pump units are installed on the same foundation layer.
2. Water outlet location:
Generally, the water outlet is located above the foundation layer, but can also be located below the foundation layer if required by the user.
3. How to bear axial thrust:
1 ) When the water pump is driven by an ordinary vertical motor, the weight of the water pump rotor and the axial thrust are borne by the thrust bearing installed on the upper part of the water pump.
2 ) When the water pump is driven by a vertical motor with a thrust bearing, the weight and axial thrust of the water pump rotor are borne by the thrust bearing inside the motor.
3 ) When the water pump is driven by a right-angle gearbox, the weight and axial thrust of the water pump rotor are borne by the thrust bearing installed in the right-angle gearbox.
4. Lubrication method of guide bearing:
Self-lubrication: If the medium transported by the water pump is a clean liquid, the guide bearing can be directly lubricated by the transported medium.
External pressurized water lubrication: If the medium transported by the water pump contains a small amount of impurities, it is necessary to connect clean pressurized water from the outside for lubrication (the water pump is equipped with a self-closing sealing system. After the water pump is stopped, the self-closing sealing system can prevent impurities from entering the guide bearing).
5. Lubrication of thrust bearings:
Thrust bearings are generally lubricated with thin oil (small pumps can also be lubricated with grease). A cooling jacket can be set outside the bearing body to cool the oil temperature with cooling water.
6. Water pump and motor coupling:
Elastic coupling: If the axial thrust is borne by the water pump, the water pump and the motor are connected by an elastic coupling.
Rigid coupling: If the axial thrust is borne by the motor, the water pump and the motor are connected with a rigid coupling.
7. Power supply:
1 ) Equipped with ordinary vertical motor direct drive.
2 ) Equipped with a vertical motor direct drive with thrust bearing.
3 ) It is equipped with a diesel engine and driven by a right-angle gearbox.
4 ) It is equipped with a horizontal high-speed motor and a variable speed drive through a right-angle gearbox.

Its characteristics are simple operation and maintenance, low noise and few equipment requirements.
XBC -LC diesel double-suction split pump unit is powered by 10-1000KW series diesel engines produced by Volvo, Cummins, Deutz and well-known domestic diesel engine manufacturers . It is assembled with the water pump through high - elastic couplings, clutches, reducers, etc., and has the characteristics of rapid and reliable starting, strong emergency capability, compact structure, and convenient protection. It has manual, automatic, automatic switching, automatic charging, automatic protection (overspeed, low oil pressure, three start failures, high water temperature, low battery voltage, etc. alarm, shutdown protection, etc.), emergency lighting, remote monitoring connection and other functions. In order to ensure the normal operation of the unit in cold climates below 5 ℃, the unit can be equipped with a cooling water preheating device.
Both units can be provided with automatic control cabinets to achieve the purpose of automatic control, remote monitoring and remote control.
