VTM Series Vertical Long Shaft Mixed Flow Pump
VTM series vertical long-axis mixed flow pump is a single-stage mixed flow pump (diagonal flow pump) for large flow and medium head, with wide head range, compact structure and small footprint.
Combined with China's actual situation, the energy-saving vertical long-axis mixed flow pump product developed by taking advantage of the strengths and making up for the weaknesses is used to transport clean water, rainwater, seawater and sewage with a temperature below 55°C. It is suitable for use as a circulating pump in power plants, and can also be used for industrial water in steel plants, docks, urban water supply and diversion projects, and farmland irrigation.
Structure Description
1. Installation method
Single-layer foundation: The motor and pump are directly installed on one foundation layer, and the pump discharge pipe can be arranged below the pump foundation layer or above the foundation layer.
Double-layer foundation: The motor and pump are installed on their respective foundation layers, and the pump discharge pipe is between the two foundation layers.
2. Pumps are classified into two types: non-extractable type and type where the rotor (including guide vanes) or the entire pump is extractable.
3. Pump impellers are divided into centrifugal integral impellers or diagonal flow integral impellers, bimetallic integral impellers and combined impellers, etc.
4. The axial force of the pump is borne by the thrust bearing of the motor, and can also be designed to be borne by the thrust bearing of the pump itself as needed.
5. The bearings of the pump are rubber (wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, seawater-resistant rubber) guide bearings, and rolling bearings are also used at the drive end (below the coupling). The pump shaft is usually equipped with a protective tube filled with clean pressure water for lubrication and flushing of the guide bearings. The pressure water volume can be controlled by a flow relay to prevent water shortage from damaging the bearings.
When the pump is used to transport sewage or water containing particles, an automatic shaft sealing device is installed at the guide bearing end to prevent the medium from entering the bearing after shutdown.
6. In addition to using materials resistant to seawater electrochemical corrosion, pumps that transport seawater also use cathodic protection devices using the dynamic anode method or external power supply method to prevent electrochemical corrosion of pump parts.
7. The pump is directly driven by the motor through a rigid or elastic coupling.
8. The pump suction cone has two shapes: the usual trumpet shape and the improved elliptical shape.
Application scope: VTM series vertical long-axis mixed flow pumps can be used for deep well water extraction, rainwater discharge, seepage water discharge; fire protection in industrial and mining enterprises; water intake in the tap water industry;
iron oxide water and ash water in the steel industry; barrel-type vertical long-axis pumps can be used to transport condensate and volatile liquids.
