A sewage lifting pump station usually includes the following main parts:
Catchment Basin: This is a place for temporary storage of sewage, which can be an underground concrete tank or a closed steel container.
Sewage pump: This is the core equipment of the lifting pump station, which is used to lift the sewage from the sump to the required height. According to the type and design of the pump, it can be divided into centrifugal pump, submersible pump, self-priming pump and so on.
Control system: The control system is responsible for controlling the start and stop of the sewage pump to ensure the normal operation of the pump station. Generally, it will include liquid level sensor, motor protector, control box and so on.
Pipeline system: including water inlet pipes, outlet pipes, bypass pipes, etc., used to transport sewage to where it is needed.
Other equipment: such as backup pumps (in order to prevent the failure of the main pump), inspection wells (for inspection and maintenance), gas treatment equipment (to deal with the foul gas produced in the sump), etc.
